Vicious…

…you hit me with a flower.

O’Reilly and others have posted about this, so I won’t go on.
But I’ll go on…

Downside - I kind of don’t want to water them, because
I want to see them decay. Also, they need to get better
bouquet options — the visual design is ALMOST ok. So
the geeks are groking it, but my wife’s immediate response
is “They need better flowers.” But wait, I’m psychic, you’re
saying “But that’s not the point!” And that’s true, right
now. This is a beta product, it’s illustrating their point,
and it’s rad. Now, I’ll rant for a second -

EXCEPT IT IS! COMPLETELLY! THE POINT!

It’s a branded experience. An experience. For people. For regular people.
So they should have a good (in this case) experience. And like the flowers.
And give a shit about watering them. And the like.

And don’t get me wrong here… I totally dig what Jackson Fish Market have done, and get that
it’s almost proof of concept, etc. But that last mile does matter.
If I’m a brand, I’m going to want the flowers to be FLOWERS… I’m going to ask
if they can have a SMELL, (this has happened. for reals.), and if I’m the
audience, I’m going… well, I’m going to do the same thing.
